I have been working with children for over ten years. My professional experiences have included work as an in home Special Needs Nanny, and extensive work as an ABA therapist, program supervisor, and Case Consultant. The children I have worked with have had a variety of disabilities, including: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Seizure Disorders and visual impairments. With most of these children, I have use Reiki to support them and their families. I hope to continue supporting families and individuals, bringing a sense of empowerment to each and everyone who wants it.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Education, specializing in Early Childhood Special Education. In addition to my extensive academic and educational experiences with autism, I also believe in incorporating a more integrative holistic approach. Because of this belief I have been attuned as a Reiki Master Teacher.
Approximately, 8 years ago Reiki found me. After my Reiki Level 1 Attunement I had several profound experiences which led me to further explore Reiki. I supported my sister-in-law during her labor and delivery, I supported my grandfather during his transition from life, and I supported my aunt during numerous chemo-therapy treatments. Following my year long Reiki Master apprenticeship, I gained such a spiritual sense of self that I had never been able to connect to before.I feel extremely privileged and humbled that I have found Reiki.

Familiar approaches that I have successfully implemented include ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis), DTT (Discrete Trial Training), PRT (Pivotal Response Training), RDI (Relationship Development Intervention), Floortime, PECS, TEACCH, SCERTS, and Sensory Integration.
